The recordings on this CD have been restored using a time consuming process of redrawing the wave file by hand for each of the significant audio perturbances and only then using computer software to remove additional unwanted artifacts. No noise suppression has been used, but in part some slight hiss and rumble reduction has been employed. Cross-talk and fading on the short-wave Broadcast to America has been repaired to some extent.

The objective has been to produce a bright natural sound without heavily influencing the original source file.
